BUDS2 version that works after 01-NOV-2025. 

BRP has discontinued support for BUDS2 software effective November 1, 2025. 

If you have a BUDS2 version released before November 2, 2025, the program will no longer function and will not detect the connected vehicle.

You will need to download and install the new version (below).

If you have already installed the previous version 25.0.0_6700, then simply run the installation file BUDS2_25.0.0_7B7B_12NOV25_Setup.exe (download link is below). 

If you have installed a BUDS2 version released before November 2025, then is needed to perform a clean installation.

Clean installation:

IMPORTANT! If you have used BUDS2 before, it is recommended to save the vehicle-settings-files* of scanned vehicles (perhaps you will need them in the future).

*Every time you are scanning a vehicle by BUDS2, the vehicle-settings-file (xxxxxx.buds2) is automatically saved in folder Files in C:\Program Files (x86)\BRP\BUDS2\Files .

The name of each file consists of: VIN + Date (year/month/day) + time (hour/minute/second) when the file was automatically saved.  Example: 2BX2GEGZ8KJ000000_20250523190848.buds2.

1. IMPORTANT! Uninstall old BUDS2 version in Control Panel – Programs and Features.

2. IMPORTANT! Delete the folder BUDS2 in C:\Program Files (x86)\BRP.

3. Download and install as Administrator the updated version BUDS2_25.0.0_7B7B_12NOV25_Setup.exe.

4. Connect MPI with the serial number specified in your order and activate the license: BUDS2 license activation.

**After installation will be completed you can copy/move the saved vehicle-settings-files to folder Files in C:\Program Files (x86)\BRP\BUDS2\Files .
