BUDS2 version 24.2.2_3EF2

All BUDS2 versions of the program released before September 2025 have stopped working. BRP released an update and the problem was solved. It is mandatory to install the latest BUDS2 version. If you haven't installed a previous version 8EBA (released on September 2025), then you need to perform a "Clean installation" (instruction below).

Clean installation:

IMPORTANT! If you have used BUDS2 before, it is recommended to save the vehicle-settings-files* of scanned vehicles (perhaps you will need them in the future).

*Every time you are scanning a vehicle by BUDS2, the vehicle-settings-file (xxxxxx.buds2) is automatically saved in folder Files in C:\Program Files (x86)\BRP\BUDS2\Files .

The name of each file consists of: VIN + Date (year/month/day) + time (hour/minute/second) when the file was automatically saved.  Example: 2BX2GEGZ8KJ000000_20250523190848.buds2.

1. IMPORTANT! Uninstall old BUDS2 version in Control Panel – Programs and Features.

2. IMPORTANT! Delete the folder BUDS2 in C:\Program Files (x86)\BRP.

3. Download and install as Administrator the version BUDS2_24.2.2_3EF2_Setup.exe.

**After installation will be completed you can copy/move the saved vehicle-settings-files to folder Files in C:\Program Files (x86)\BRP\BUDS2\Files .
