BUDS3 Licenses for BRP vehicles 2017+

BUDS3 - the new BRP Utility and Diagnostic Software (BUDS) platform, is now the official tool for running diagnostics on BRP vehicles.

With BUDS3, you’ll enjoy new features – such as a fresh interface, a stable environment and improved functionalities, like a live measurement page and a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) freeze frame. You will also be able to access BUDS3 from a desktop, laptop or tablet PC that functions on a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.

• Installation Requirements
  The hardware and software of the computer are all critical to ensure an optimal BUDS3 performance.
  We may not be able to assist if the computer configuration doesn’t match the minimum requirements:
  • Processor Type: 64-bit quad-core minimum
  • Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • Space Drive: Minimum 35 GB HDD | Recommended 35 GB SSD
  • RAM: Minimum of 4 GB | Recommended 8 GB
  • Screen Resolution: Minimum 1366 x 768 | Recommended 1920 x 1080 / Configure screen scaling to 100%

BRP recommends using the computer for BUDS and other BRP usages only. Diagnostic tools from other powersport vendors, some computer security suites and some remote administration software could occasionally interfere with the correct operation of BUDS.

Important! Windows administrator privileges are required for BUDS3 installation, as well as for module update operations using a USB-to-USB cable connection.
